Review: Evolve, My New Beauty Crush

by

I’ll admit it ok, I have a girl crush. Well a beauty girl crush. After exhibiting at our Clean Cult event, we became aware of Evolve Beauty and their lush, natural products handcrafted in their studio in Hertfordshire. I’ve tried a few of their products but there’s two I keep coming back to time and time again.

Daily Renew Natural Face Cream

This baby is filled to the brim with active ingredients like peptides and hyaluronic acid, as well as our old dependable favourites like argan oil. It’s a rich thick formula, and this cream hits the nail on the head with its high performance formulation and efficacy, showing that nature can be harnessed in its organic form for great skincare results. At £24 for 60ml, I think this is a steal. A cream on the high street using these ingredients in their synthetic form would be priced over £50 no doubt. It’s also made up of over 30% organic ingredients.

Hyaluronic Serum 200

Forget retinol, forget stem cells, hyaluronic acid is hands down the best skin care and anti-ageing ingredient on the block. The molecule holds up to 1000 times its weight in water, meaning that when applied in conjunction with a water based products, the molecule expands and plumps. Reducing fine lines, improving skin tone and keeping the skin soft and supple. Evolve’s serum is a concentrated burst buffered with rose water and pomegranate, both helping as astringent and antioxidants respectively.

I have been using the two serum and then moisturiser for the last week and I can honestly say my skin is looking tip top. I’m desperate to look younger these days as my *30th* birthday is in a week – don’t tell anyone and if you must you can ask them to send their gifts to Netil House, E8 3RL – so anything I can do to shave off the years is very well received this week.
