Review: Biolage R.A.W. Conditioner and Mask

by

Hair breakage, split ends, dullness…to those of us not blessed with Rachel-from-Friends locks, these are real life hair struggles that we have to deal with, meaning we’re always on the lookout for new intense-moisture products. Enter the new hair rescue range by Matrix called Biolage R.A.W. Using the highest standard of ingredients that are both natural and green, and after trying their range, my dehydrated tresses were in love.

Biolage R.A.W. Nourish Conditioner

Why do natural products tend to smell so delicious?! This one here does smell heavenly but don’t be tempted to dig a spoon in – it is for your hair. Packed full of goodness, coconut oil and kaolin clay adds plenty of moisture and softens the hair which helps with detangling (my least favourite part of my hair routine) and dissolving knots in the hair. Kaolin clay is just ‘minerals central’ as it nourishes the scalp and roots which will encourage hair growth. The product is quite thick so be sure to give a good shake before you dispense.

Biolage R.A.W. Re-Hydrate Mask

This clay mask is super easy to wash out of the hair, this is important as most other clays aren’t and walking around with dry clay clumps in your hair is not yet a trend. The mask adds a certain gloss to the hair and seals in moisture thanks to the shea butter. If you would like to up the ante then put a plastic cap or even an old plastic shopping bag over your hair this will help the mask work harder and hydrate the hair better.
