Who Won Best Beauty at the Oscars 2017

by

Despite elements of the event not going quite to plan (criiiinge Warren Beatty), there were some on point beauty looks from the Oscars 2017 that we’re still drooling over this evening. And the award(s) go to…

Best Peach Pout – Janelle Monae

We’re obsessed with this gorgeously glossy apricot lip on the stunning Janelle Monae. Teamed with the sweeping bronze on the lids and those lashes…the perfect way to set off her new pixie chop. We’d recreate using W3LL People’s Bio Extreme LipGloss in Peachy PInk on the lips and a generous helping of Juice Beauty’s PHYTO-PIGMENTS Cream Shadow Stick in Haze Golden Beige.

Best All-Out Glamour – Emma Stone

The Best Actress 2017 lived up to her award by going full-on leading lady with her makeup. Emma broke most beauty rules by opting for both red lip AND dark eye but boy did she pull it off. Ilia Beauty’s Organic Lipstick in Femme Fatale would nail that deep, red lip shade perfectly whilst a decent spritz of John Masters Organics Hair Spray would keep those Hollywood curls in place all eve.

Best Cheek Glow – Chrissy Teigen

We’re mega fans of a highlighted cheek here at CBCo so were delighted to see Chrissy Teigen’s dewy bronze face. The look was subtle, including a very chic chignon, which balanced out the wow-factor of her dress (complete with thigh-high split). Nothing can compete with RMS Beauty’s Mast Mixer when it comes to all-night long glow and the Kjaer Weis lipstick in Believe would complete the look.

Best Cat Eyeliner – Jessica Biel

Jessica’s knockout dress meant she could take a simple makeup approach and still look like a glam goddess. Flawless complexion and a statement (and perfectly executed) cat eye were the perfect, sophisticated compliment to her glitzy gold dress. Jane Iredale’s Liquid Eyeliner is great at achieving that precise finish.

Best Red Lip

Emma Roberts totally won at perfectly clashing her red pout to her new (rather wonderful) peach hairdo. We love way the red pops with her porcelain complexion, minimal eyeshadow and long lashes. Absolution Organic Lipstick in Rouge Coquelicot is our goto brand to recreate this standout rouge hue.
